Logistics
The time of processing, loading and shipment of the orders takes maximum 4-6 weeks, but we are always working on improvements in the organization in order to decrees the delivery period as much as we can. One way to affect the delivery time is by offering our customers logistic and transport services. All the products are delivered ex-works, however in order to supply our customers with the best and on time distribution, all the logistics are processed thought our specialized logistic team. We prepare all the required documentations and make the transport and freight arrangements.
Wood Steaming
The steaming of the sawn-wood is done in the special steaming kilns with the capacity of 30m3 per cycle. The wood is exposed to steaming air temperature of more than 80°C, and depending on the thickness of the wood and the desired color, the steaming time takes between 20 – 40 hours. The color that the beech wood can receive from the steaming is reddish-brown.
Wood Drying
In order to achieve unifying quality, consistent color of the panels and balanced moisture of 8-12%, the wood has to be dried technically. The technical drying of the wood has its advantage compared to the open air drying. It assures consistency in the quality of the drying and the decreases the risk in drying because of the different atmospheric conditions. Our computer guided kilns, with capacity of 500m3 sawn-wood per cycle, have automatic control and drying timetables that provides high quality in drying.
