Certification
The protection of the environment is an integral part of Lesnina Inzenering Panels. In accordance with this, and our intention to decrease the pollution and increase the hygienic conditions of work, we have implemented, and the independent auditors regularly check on, internationally acknowledged ISO 9001, and in process of implementation ISO 14001 standards of work.
In view of that, environmental protection is a permanent, systematic management process in our company.
Forrest
Wood is the ecologically most sensible material, most versatile and renewable resource, but at the same time unique substance with great demanding character of its exploitation for human needs. Therefore, we have a responsibility to protect and look after.
In accordance with that we are in constant communication and cooperation with the Macedonian biggest timber supplier – The Macedonia Forrest P.C., with who we like to achieve not only protection by law, but especially by fostering responsible forestry. We have developed strict criteria to guide forestry, which purpose is to avoid uncontrolled logging, violation of human rights and environmental stress.
Employees
We are constantly working on improving the work environment, where our employees will feel safe, appreciated and motivated. We invest in development of their skills and knowledge, to ensure, that all employees on all levels will obey the effective environmental laws, regulations and requirements in our Company. We follow close the entire supply chain from the procurement of timber to processing and sales.
Green Agenda Found
As of June 2008, we have created a separate found only for Environmental Activities – Green Agenda. We intend to invest the recourses in implementation and usage of different energy efficiency or self sustainable sources and appliances, in order to cut on energy usage and achieve higher self-sustainability.
